Summary
The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the financial operations of an established Interior Designing firm. This includes overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities. The ideal candidate should have relevant work experience in Australia , China, Thailand, be hands-on, tech-savvy with the ability to plan and implement automation systems to improve workflow, able to manage the financial operations and reporting for multiple entities within the Company, as well as for entities located in different regions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Operations
- Oversee the financial operations of the company and its subsidiaries.
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare monthly financial statements.
- Manage cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable including recovery of bad debts and overdue accounts.
2. Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare financial reports and provide analysis to senior management.
- Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights to senior management.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
3. Automation and Process Improvement
- Plan and implement automation systems to improve workflow and increase efficiency.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and other relevant stakeholders.
4. Strategic Planning and Business Development
- Assist with strategic planning and business development initiatives.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals align with overall company objectives.
5. Ad-hoc tasks and projects
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- Support in the set-up of overseas entities.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
