LTW Designworks

Leading the regional design scene since 1980, LTW is an international studio specialising in luxury hospitality interiors. With a portfolio that includes the world’s top hoteliers and luxury developers, we have designed more than 100 hotels on five continents and currently have over 20 projects in development.

Based in Singapore with satellite offices in Beijing and Shanghai, we are passionate about creating exceptional interiors that are culturally and geographically grounded, yet speak to the comfort and functionality of the luxury hospitality experience. LIM HONG LIAN

Born in Singapore and educated in the UK, Hong Lian (“HL”) began his design career in London working in the hospitality industry. Returning to Asia in 1979, he was named Managing Partner for the Singapore office of Chhada Siembieda & Associates in 1981. During his decade-long tenure there, he grew the company’s luxury hotel portfolio and established his reputation as one of Asia’s most respected designers. In 1991, he founded H.L. Lim & Associates, known now as LTW Designworks, which quickly became the design studio of choice for the world’s leading luxury hoteliers and hospitality operators.

Teo Su Seam

Born in Singapore, Teo Su Seam is an industry veteran who obtained both her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Interior Architecture degrees from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, USA in 1989. Su worked with notable interior design firms in the US and Singapore before joining H.L. Lim & Associates in 1994, steering the firm’s growth and overseeing a number of its landmark projects. Su Seam was named an Associate in 1997 and became a Partner of what is now LTW Designworks in 2001.

Robert Shen

Based in Singapore, Robert brings over 20 years of design, management and business development experience in his drive to expand LTW’s growth across the region and into new markets, strengthening the firm’s global footprint. Prior to joining LTW, Robert served in various capacities for Wilson Associates, including Executive Director, Chief Representative in China, and most recently Vice President of Business Development, Asia-Pacific and Americas. Before moving to Asia Robert practiced architectural and interior design in San Francisco, and holds a degree in Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley.

Marina Baracs

Marina Baracs is based in Milan, Italy and has been a Partner at LTW Designworks since 1996, setting up a branch office of LTW in Milan, which she headed from 1999 until 2014, working on prestigious five-star hotels in Europe, Africa, North America and Asia. Specialising in hotel and resort interior design, Marina is frequently invited as a lecturer and project leader at prestigious institutions, including the Politecnico di Milano, Scuola Politecnica di Design, Domus Academy Milan, and The Graduate School at Shenzhen, Tsinghua University, China.

Anupan Supathamakij

Born in Thailand and based in Singapore, Anupan has 30 years of experience designing and completing luxury hotels around the Asia-Pacific region. As a design director at LTW Designworks, he has been an integral part of the conceptualisation, documentation and execution of iconichotels such as Studio City Macau, Grand Hyatt Haitang Bay in Sanya, and Shangri-la Colombo in Sri Lanka. He oversees the design team in all aspects of the design process from space planning and concept design to documentation, specifications and construction administration.

Prior to joining LTW, Anupan also completed the Westin Resort Ubud in Bali, Sanya Resort Hotel in China, and Amari Watergate Hotel Bangkok in Thailand.
